Operations Manager, Alex Kline, PE is responsible for leading all members of the Indianapolis team and spearheading business development efforts throughout the geographic market.
As the engineering leader of all IEI offices, Dustin Quincy, PE is not only responsible for establishing the guidelines but also promoting a culture of consistent excellence, quality control and best practices in the technical delivery of projects and services to the firm’s clients. Dustin works closely with the engineering teams in all offices on the delivery of design, construction inspection and program management projects.
Dustin says he’s most proud of IEI’s problem-solving approach, which “saves our clients time and money.”
Capabilities
As a prime design consultant, IEI Indianapolis has successfully completed multiple road, bridge, traffic, civil/site design and construction inspection projects throughout the State of Indiana. Team engineers and technicians, who are well versed in Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW), and The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) standards and specifications, have the additional support of professionals from IEI offices in Chicago, New York, Peoria and Springfield, Illinois.
From massive roadway reconstruction to streetscapes and public spaces, IEI provides a diverse range of civil engineering services for roadways, highways, traffic engineering, bridges, and structural facilities. IEI can serve public and private organizations as the prime consultant or as a DBE.

Since the office inception in 2006, and prior for many of the Indianapolis employees, the IEI team has worked with the Indiana Department of Transportation, Indianapolis DPW, and various municipalities and private clients. Projects have ranged in size from under $50 thousand to more than $300 million in construction costs.
IEI has served local communities through the support of the Dove Recovery House that helps women with substance abuse or addiction become sober and self-sufficient; the SENSE Charter School Food Pantry; and assisting an identified family for the holidays through the United Way.
